Zine Making Workshop at Scarborough Museum
Join Scarborough Museum and The ArQuives for an interactive
zine-making workshop - participants will learn about the history of
zines and their role in DIY and queer culture, and learn how to
create and reproduce their own zines with collage and craft
materials provided.
Zine making workshop is family friendly and appropriate for all
ages, however please note that one ticket must be reserved for each
participant, including children, to guarantee attendance. Please
note that children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult over
18.
Zine-making workshop will be held outside on the Museum's front
lawn, weather permitting - tickets guarantee a reserved indoor spot
in the event of inclement weather (i.e. rain, high winds). Drop-in
slots will be available on a first-come, first served basis - if
tickets are not visible / sold out, please contact shm@toronto.ca
or call 416 388 8807 on the day of the session to determine
availability.
Join us this June as we celebrate Pride Month and the 2SLGBTQ+
